My dad, Don Dwane, passed away a few days ago. He served for about 27 years and was in Rheindahlen (JHQ) in 67, then Hameln, Osnabrück, Bulford, Edinburgh (Craigie Hall) and finally in Düsseldorf (2 Grp - he was involved with the rugby club there) until 86 before coming out in Aldershot a few years later. No funeral arrangements yet. If anyone reads this and can give me advice or info regarding a military funeral in Aldershot (we already know he can have one) - what to look out for, who to go through etc, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
