Hi. My Grandfather was in the RASC in WW1 and had something to do with accountancy but I can find nothing about this on WW1 sites. His 1918 war diary tells me that he was with M H S Accountants, E F C (??) 317, B T F, France. Can anyone make sense of this please? My father told me that MHS was Maxwell Hicks if this is any help. G/Father mentions being at Amiens, Etaples, Eppeville, Taubes aeroplanes, Criel-sur-Mer.. what was he doing? Any help v much appreciated. Thank you .Laura
