I was a dvr / radio op in HQ troop too from 64 to 67 along with others such as Sami Baroki, Neil 'toothy' Hill, Chris Walkinshaw, Paul 'The Guitar' Artley, Bunny Warren, Stu McIntosh, Mick Bailey and the rest. Caopt Jordan was our CO / Adjutant. He was easily recognisable driving around in his bright blue VW. The radio troop had its own authorised 'bar' in the cellar of the house we occupied and was very popular with the occupants and 'guests'. I remember well the regular border patrols and Sennelager Guards we went on. I played football and basketball for the regiment. Liebenau was a great place to serve in with a relaxed and happy atmosphere. Happy days.

Hi! my name is Barry Sedgwick [Sedge] 1963-1967 my claim to fame is the tree I knocked down in the Nienburg road B troop first then HQ troop as 2i/c driver radio op Hi Barry Our paths must have crossed several times as I too was in RHQ Troop as a Dvr/Radio Op in 65/66 and 67. Our platoon Cpl was Sami Baroki ( I was in the same room as him along with Neil (Toothy) Hill. Others in the troop included Paul 'The Guitar' Artley, Chris Walkinshaw, Stu McIntosh and our OIC and camp adjutant was Capt Jordan who drove around in his blue VW. I don't know if you cam remember but we managed to get the CO's authority to run a bar in the cellar of the house we occupied which went down very well with the 'residents and guests'. Happy Days and what a great camp to be posted in. Best wishes Mike Osborne
