My mothers brother, Charles Edward GOODWAY Sjt T/6411374 died aged 30 in Ceylon in December 1945 (whilst serving in the RASC) from a head injury. She only ever saw him once as the family were split and she was put into care aged 7. It has taken me nearly 2 years to trace/identify him via the War Graves Commission site. I now have his birth/death certificates but no other information about him at all. If anyone has any info on him or what he was doing in Ceylon my mother and I would be most grateful Thankyou Nikki
