O well i have this stupid urge to want to done the green stuff again at the good age of 45! can anyone help me with info as to weather i can join the local sqn of logistic corps as a drv at this age? was a trog for 7yrs but that was 19yrs ago but fitness is ok! the local sqn is 240 from 151 logistic corps

You may be out of luck mate, in my old Squadron the age limit was up to 30 years and if you where fresh out f the Regulars then your chance was high . You may get in at your age, they are struggling to recruit because of the aggro stations out there, give it a shot and the best of British.

Well, you might be surprised if you go to your local Sqn, telling them that you have previous military experience. You might not be offered the post you want, but all TA have to drive vehicles. They are very keen to snap anyone up for posts like Chef (RLC (V)) or Clerk (AGC SPS (V)) or Medic CMT (RAMC (V)). However, please be aware that the TA are very keen for volunteers to be mobilised and that is what they probably tell you during your interview. Go on give it a go.
