Hi, we are trying to find some info on my grandads time in the war, my mum says he didn't talk much at all so we have very little information, so I'm hoping that some of you may be able to assist!
His name is Frederick Rush, but he was known as Peter. Born 1911.
We have a letter and photograph, the letter says 19 Company RASC and we believe he was a driver in Egypt.
We think the service number may be T/902197 or T/902597 but it's hard to read the writing.
Letter dated 6th May 1942 and photo dated 1944.
We will send of for his army service record once we have worked out his service number.
If anyone has any ideas as to where he may have been or what he may have done it would be so helpful!
