my grandad Cedric william Couppleditch (Bill) . was a seargent butcher based near Stewkley / soulbury near Leighton buzzard in beds in the earlier part.of the war
I understand he threw his stripes in and became a despatch rider and then later a lorry driver post d day . I understand he also helped repatriate a number of polish refugees
i have tried to search for his records and you would have thought with an uncommon surname it would be easy but can find no trace
is there anyone able to help find records or does anyone habe any knowledge of him of friends he would have had
