Hi,
I am currently working on my family tree ahead of my father's 60th birthday.
i am trying to find out more about his fathers WW2 service.
All i I know is CHARLES EDWIN ROBERTSON DOB. 12.01.1920 served with the Royal Army Service Corps during the Second World War. His brother ALBERT ROBERTSON also went to war. He was born and grew up in Stafford, Staffordshire.
my grandmother knows very little - other than after years at war the brothers 'bumped in to each other' in North Africa on christmas day. His records were stolen when my Nan was broken in to.
Not sure where to start.
Any help much appreciated, Sarah.

Afternoon Sarah,
Have you managed to find any further information on Charles Robertson?
I'm in the process of researching 14 Company RASC during WW2 and have copied the Unit's War Diary 1939-45 which makes for some interesting reading, especially in North Africa. It would be great if you were able to get in touch about your grand father's wartime experiences.
My interest in this area is that I was Officer Commanding 14 Squadron (present day 14 Company).
Look forward to hearing from you soon
Regards
James
