Hi Willis, like you I am also researching my grandfather - Clifford William Allibone, a driver with the Royal Field Artillery (which I'm hoping might be attached or somehow associated with the RASC) during 1914-18 war. I too sourced his medal card but it shows nothing other than some simple details. It's very frustrating, particularly as I was only 15 when he died and not curious enough to ask him about what he did during WW1... if you discover anything more please let me know, and I'll do the same for you! Cheers, Tom.

I tend to doubt if a driver in the Royal Field Artillery had any connection with the Army Service Corps. Gun team drivers were, so far as my information goes, members of the RFA and ranked as Gunner.

For George Toller. Your uncle was in an organisation named 4th Cavalry Reserve Park. The Public Record Office at Kew may be able to help with his records.

I am also trying to find out about my paternal grandad who was supposed to be John Edward Anderson. He is on the 1911 census at Aldershot Barracks . I have found a medal card for 1914 Reg number s/28798 Bakery division. Does anybody know what that was and where I can find out more? He was born in 1892 and joined the army around 1910/1911.
