Hello and best wishes to all ex RASC and RCT members. Phil 'Robbo' Robson here. I joined the RASC/RCT Association yonks ago but have only now discovered this forum.
Will look through the site more fully later but at a quick glance have already spotted one name I know, from 9 Sqn, 10 Reg't, Bielefeld - Hi Neil (McBride)!
Here's my potted 'unit list' history:
January 1964 - Joined Jnr Ldrs Battalion RASC at Norton Manor, Taunton.
Late 1965 - 12 Sqn RCT, Liebenau, BAOR.
Early 1966 - 22 AD Sqn RCT, Tangmere, Sussex.
Mid 1966 - 36 Ambulance Sqn RCT, 10 Reg't, Bielefeld, BAOR.
Autumn 1969 - 2 Sqn RCT, Bahrain (HQ Troop Jufair then B Troop Muharraq).
Mid 1970 - JLR RCT Norton Manor Camp, Taunton (M/C Training wing).
September 1971 - Civvy Street ........ .
Now semi retired back in my old home area of East Devon.
A big HI to anyone who knows me, please get in touch either through this forum or with a pm. Also looking forward to hearing from anyone from my old units and to checking out the forum on a regular basis.
