Hi folks.
I am looking for anybody who knew my dad, Sgt Richard 'Yorkie' Yorke.
He was in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (armored?) Div RCT. He joined in June 1971 in Aldershot And left in June 1993.
He served in Germany ( Bunde, Birdwood Brks, Munster, Duiseberg ), Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Falklands, UK and the first Gulf war. I myself recall Tidworth, Caterick. My mum worked as the manager of the officers mess in Birdwood Brks.
I know of 2 lads he knew, Bill Neil and John Carter. If anyone knows of them and or where they are that would be great. Anyone else who knows my dad please let me know.
