Hi Jim Yes I remember you too. All those names you mention bring back memories too. Barry Kirten was a good friend of mine and I well remember the day he died on the abseil tower. I did 26 years altogether and then did 15 years in Saudi Arabia with BAe Systems. Currently living in the North East near Middlesbrough. Let me know where you are and what you are doing. You can send pm if you like.

hi Geoff and Jim. Mervyn Dare here. Great days from 63 to 65. I remember Barry Kirten and his cartoons. I`ve got a near complete collection of the wagonette in my loft somewhere, with all the names, including David Logue, Mullins, Herbie, Mark Choke.

Hi Mervyn Although I think in those days we used to call you Dan Dare (can't think why!). You will have to scan some of the old pictures from your collection of the wagonette especially if they are of any of the old band platoon. I am living in Middlesbrough now. If you read this Mervyn register yourself on the sight and then we will be able to send each other a PM where we can exchange email addresses. I have a photo of the band and I am sure that you would love to see it.
