I am trying to find any info on Edward Dan Spencer who was in the ASC at Hulme Barracks in Manchester 1875 (This from his marriage certificate where he claimed he was a Private in the 12th Lancers although they have no record of him.) In Woolwich in 1877 (from my wife's Grandmother's birth certificate where he says he is a private in the ASC) and then in Bull point Devon in 1881 (On the 1881 census) where he is a soldier with the ASC. What I am trying find are any details of him actually in the ASC. Can anybody tell me where I look I live in Manchester and travel to Kew is not possible although nearer places would be.
