Hi Everyone, I am reserching my family tree and I've my Great Grandfather from 1916 - 1920 had enlisted in the RASC. His No. was T4/216763 Private Edward Goodwin.
I would appreciate any information that anyone has about the type of job he had, any deployments as I can hardly read the information on the copy I have. I can read on the service part " Holland Park, W" typed but I'm not sure what this means... Like I said I am new to this and would appreciate any help anyone could give.
Also on the roll card it shows that he gained Victory Medal & British Medal..... is there anywhere that I can look to confirm he actually receive them? Any information would be surely appreciated.
I just wish I was born before he died so I could ask......
Best Regards
