Looking for information regarding 236 Bridge Company in Italy 1944 or earlier. My uncle L/Cpl Thomas Waugh Heslop was an RASC driver KIA 28/3 1944.He lies in Minturno War cemetery about 78 km north of Naples,so i assume that the company was in action in that area. Thomas was from High Usworth in Co.Durham.I am researching my family history and would be gratefull for any info. Thanks
Added 27/8/09. Just had a thought-was 236 Bridge Company more likely to be a Royal engineers unit to which my uncle was attached as a RASC truck driver.Anyone any ideas? Thanks
