I am trying to trace the war records of my father Herbert Ridsdale who served in the R.A.S.C.during the 14-18 war I know he was in Franch and was wounded losing a eye if anyone can tell me where I can find out information I would be grateful. His war medals were stolen in a burgalery can I get replacements for these. A Ridsdale

See family tree post for help, if he was wounded it is likely he was invalided out of the service and there may be a pension record available. Replacement medals are available, search web for these. Info here, www.britishmedals.info/advice.html
