Hello, I am researching my family tree only to discover I had a relation who served in the Royal Army service Corps. I know he was a corporal and his service number was T/58821. I have J. Thompson as his name. Can anyone help me with more information? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Cathy

Your best bet is to find a library that has internet access and a subscription to "Ancestry", you can rearch there free. Put the names and the army number in the relevant boxes, press enter and see if you get a result, please bear in mind that not all records survive. You should be able to search free at your county records office as well. Try www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/They have some good research guides and you can search free, pay to download, which might give you an idea if any record survives.
