I am researching a Pte B.W.G. Baker, Service No 14767330 who was killed in action on 4 April 1944 whilst attached to the Durham Light Infantry, 9th Bn.
From little knowledge I have on army numbers, his number of 14767330, was alocated to the Royal Army Service Corps. Can some one please confirm this

My number was 14415708 when I joined 70th Batt Middlesex 1943. I was transfered to RASC as driver 1944 number stayed same with T/ prefix. Bert

Hi My father was in the RASC 1944 1948, he was classified as a driver in 1945. he was cpl raymond howarth, he ended his service in 63 coy rasc para brigade and served in the middle east in 1946. I beleive he was involved in air despatch. any info as to where exactly he would have served, I seem to remember him metioning palestine but i could be wrong.
