Hello Iam looking for information on my late grandfather Alexander McAndrew Pringle. I beleve he served in the Rasc, 240 company, 8th Army. He served North Africa, Sicly, Italy, and Germany at the end of WW2. I think at one point he was stationed in or around Munster? He came from Brechin, Angus, Scotland. And his truck had "Dundee cake" on the Cab, Iam told that a Fellow soldier from London wrote underneath Dundee cake "Wot muver used to make" He was also a driver to a Captain David Dewhurst? For a while, how long iam unsure. He also spoke of a few of the Officers a Major Black? And a Major Louyeh? And mentioned friends Edward "Teddy" Greig and Freddie Nunn. I just wondered if anyone out there knew him, and also was there anyway of finding out more about him. Thank you in advance. Alex
