hello i am looking for info oin my grand father who served during ww2 he was killed during a convoy near the southcoast of england near romford as far as i know my mother who was only three at the time never knew him sadly she died many years ago and my grandmother only died last year i have a picture of him and a certificate of his service from the king which arrived after his death and which my mother gave me my question is how would i go about finding about his service in the army if there are any pics of his regiment any body who knew him and could provide pics of him as said he was only 25 at the time of his death and not much exists of him today i know its a long shot but its worth asking as my grans sisters husband was killed at dunkirk and her uncle was killed during the 14-18 war his deatails are below you can contact me at maz66@vodafone.ie thank you alan m

Try looking at R A S C war diaries they sometimes give you the names of casualties
