Hi everyone. I was in 3 Coy from 3rd June 1964 to 1st Nov 1965. I was there for the change over and well remember the Artillary RSM going bananas because we churned up his precious parade ground during the drive past. Have many happy memories and made some great pals. Some I can remember are; Ben Readman, Harry Hay, Bob Yeomans, Billy Lovegrove, Sgt Jock Campbell, Capt Bassam RAASC, Dave Mensah, Geordie McKay. Lots more, I can see their faces but cannot put the names there. I was in Comp Platoon. I especially remember Capt Little!! Met up with him later in Germany and it took him a month to recognise me. I also went to the Aker Bilk concert in the beach club and ended up in the pool fully clothed. And who stole the beach club sign and plonked it on the MP's billet roof or set the MP's NAFFI club alight? Not me, but I'd like to buy them a pint.

Hello I wish to inform I bought an AKAI Tape Recorder from the 60s, myself being bit of a collector of such fine gear. On the outer (original box) of the recorder is written a name and address:
MAJOR K. C. DAVIS 3 SQN RCT TERENDAK CAMP
So trying a search on Google it brought me here.
I simply wish to report to whom it may concern that I am the current caretaker of this tape recorder, located in Stockholm Sweden. The machine seems to have spent a lot of time in the box so it looks fairly fresh despite age. I bought it from a an old audio collector in the U.K so any history since the 60s is unknown.
Maybe some of you know about that original owner Major.
Regards, Gunnar Forsgren Stockholm, Sweden
