Hello, I have been trying to trace the activities of a grandfather during WW1. He served with the RASC in France and later in Cologne but without more information I cannot identify war diaries etc that may be relevant. I have a "Protection Certificate and Certificate of Identity" issued by No. 1 Dispersal Unit at Prees Heath on 3rd November 1919. On this his Unit is entered as - "3 Coy N.D.T" and his Regt or Corps as RASC. To date I have been unable to find out what NDT refers to and wondered if anybody had any information regarding this unit. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
