HI! My Dad served 65 Coy RASC HQ RACS Cyprus East 1958-1959, Andrew McKinnon Thomson fro Scotland. I'd love to hear if anyone one knew him. He would have been eighty this year but assed in 2004 with Multi Infarc Demetia. I have a lot of photographs and diaries that might be of interest to some.

Hi I was in 65 coy from 1964 to 1966 initially stationed in Bicester. I was sent to Nicosia Cyprus with the UN and when we returned to the UK the unit had moved to Blackdown. The CO in Cyprus Was Cpt (Scouse) May, he was a good man and very fair. Prior to this I was in 20 Car Coy. And after 65 Coy I was posted to 35 Coy in Hamel, Germany

I must have met you as I was in Cyprus 64-65 on the air field, I think Dave Monk started up the bar there, by the hanger where we kept the three tonners, I think it was called the wheeler's. If you take a look on 65 coy RASC-heavy there are some photo's I have put on, you may recognize some of the faces. I left 65 coy in 65 when I took a posting to 18 amph Sqn in Fremington N Devon.
