Hi, my partner's father was a member of the RASC in the 1950s (I believe he joined c.1955) and for a while he was based in Germany. If anyone has any information as to where they were based while in Germany it would be appreciated. If further info is required I will do my best to find this out!
I look forward to any responses I get about this!

Hi Paul and thanks for your reply!
His name is John Curran! We don't know if he was in Osnabruek, but hopefully some research we plan to do soon will answer that and some other questions we have!

If he was ever in in 122 Tipper Coy in the late 50's, then I might have known him. I do have a number of photo's which I took there, some with many guys I remeber very well, and one or two whose names I don't remember. Anyway, if you find out whether he was in Osnabrúk, let me know.

Hi Bruce, My father was in Germany before going to Cyprus, it was certainly after the 3rd May 1954 and i believe he arrived in Cyprus in 55'ish.
I'm trying to build a better picture of his time in Germany, i have a Xmas card from him to his family which shows a tank transporter, i assume this was the vehicle he was driving?
I would appreciate any help you can provide which gives information, photos or web addresses that could help fill in the gaps.
I believe he was in 65 Coy RASC but the Xamas card states 123 Coy RASC?
Regards,
Kevin

Hi, Anyone here recall a Fred Hammond? He was a Canadian in the British Army. At the end of WW2 and marrying my mother who was a War Bride. They returned to Canada. My Mum was not happy there and Dad transferred to the British Army and stayed in until the early 60's. He finished his career as a Lt Col. Would any of you "Old Timers" remember him? We lived in Celle and Osnabruck. We also lived in Singapore. Before I came along in 52, Mum and Dad were in Malta. Thanks for reading this. Cheers for now.
