1st attempt at reunion. We had our first 122 Coy reunion on Friday 17th September, in Kettering. Only managed to raise six bodies this time. Had a great night with Jon Lund, Pete Parnell, Bob Martin, Tony Abrams, Chalkie White and myself, Paul Morris. Everybody enjoyed it, so much so, that we will do the next one next spring. By that time we might have found more people. We did find Brian Brindley, but it was late in the day and he had another function going on. Next one will be a two day event. Can't wait for that one. Anybody who is interested, who was at Scarborough Barracks between 1957 and 1960, should get in touch through this site. Since I co-ordinated this one, I will do the same with the next. If anybody out there knows the whereabouts of Stan Hurly (formerly from Forest Gate) or Tommy Read from Liverpool (Bootle I think), please let me know. Not too many of us left now but we have decided to keep in touch with each other on a personal level. So..... get in touch.. any old boys from 122 Tipper, in Osnabruck 1957 - 1960.

Hi Geordie, we most certainly DID cross paths. I have a couple of pictures with you on them. Didn't know about Geordie Bullock, I am sorry to hear that. We just had to cancel our reunion for this month. People having medical treatment.... and Bob Martin away on holiday in Spain for a month. So we have decided to arrange it for the spring. April or May. If you want to join us, stay in touch Geordie. Just sent you a test email. If it works, let me know and I'll send you a couple of pictures.

Message for Arthur Davidson..... you must have got mixed up with the dates buddy. I was at Scarborough Barracks from the middle of 1957 to the end of 1959. The CO there was Major T. E. B. Mills, a reject from the navy and a first class prick. The adjutant was Capt. Groom. The company Sergeant Major was WOII I. R. Evans, the guy was second to none. Brilliant man, right up until the day he retired.

What were the dates for all the guys you listed. I left Scarborough Barracks at the end of 1959. Don't recognize most of the names. Only one of em rings a bell, Geoff Bowes. The others I don't know. We had a CSM I. R. Evans... brilliant guy. Never met the RSM. Do you know the names I listed early on in this thread... Johny Lund.... Pete Parnel... any of those.
